2008 UPDATE ON SOLARBEAM™ BUSINESS STATUS
Solarbeam Security, LLC. Solarbeam International,Inc. and Aressco Technologies, Inc.:
Patents. We have successfully applied for and been awarded three United States Patents for Solarbeam™ related technology. In addition, we have applied for Patent Convention Treaty (PCT) coverage for patent protection coverage world wide.
Tradenames. We have successfully applied for and been awarded United States Trademark protection for Solarbeam™ and Solarbeam Security™.
New Website. We are “ live” with our updated state of the art website which more accurately supports our brand image as marketing a world class product.
Government Services Administration (GSA). We are applying for placement in the GSA purchasing registry to allow smooth and efficient acquisition of Solarbeam™ products by the Federal, State, County and Municipal agencies.
Marketing Department. We have established and staffed a new marketing department which has engaged in extensive contacts with members of the top 100 integrators in the while fielding daily domestic and international contacts from our website.
Manufacturing Resource Planning. In China, we have completed our manufacturing resource planning and “shored up” our supply lines. Ramping up and positioning for mass production.
Detailed Marketing Plan. This year we developed and implemented a structured plan for strategic alliances in the marketing and sales of Solarbeam™. They range in different levels of relationship from a sales referral in exchange for a fee, a strategic marketing alliance which requires more involvement for an increased fee and an original equipment manufacturer(OEM) relationship where another company buys our product, attaches their component and markets the entire package themselves.
New Solarbeam™ Products. We have recentlyengaged in the following new products:
a. 10-foot Extended Solar Tower. This model can include infrared beams or be filled with batteries to act as a platform for other devices such as a wireless pan/tilt/zoom (P/T/Z) video camera. The integration of our solar powered infrared beams is used as a trigger for P/T/Z cameras. This “cutting edge” technology is currently being tested by governmental entities as part of a “layered security” protocol. The implementation of such solar powered technology is protected by our currently issued, and pending patents.
b. Continued research and development of our portable and deployable Solar Tower.
