This is a general overview of the concrete foundation and how it works in most applications.                                                          STEEL MOLD W/ PVC INSERT                         250 lbs CONCRETE FOUNDATION The solar and non-solar tower assemblies are designed to mount to most any type of concrete foundation. We make it simple, if desired, you can pour your own foundation or purchase our steel mold and make your own concrete base. We recommend using your local concrete company, such as companies that manufacture stepping stones, water fountains, concrete statues etc. In most cases, you can drop off the steel mold and have the company make one or a few each day, depending on how many molds you purchase.  Utilizing our tower base template (shown below), you can even have the company pre-drill the holes and insert the lead anchors, thereby providing for easier installation later on the job site. The tower assembly includes all the mounting hardware needed to secure the tower to the foundation.   In addition, we insert a 1.25” PVC pipe to allow for electrical of flex tubing to be inserted inside the concrete foundation and up into the tower enclosure.
