A) Adaptability: Solarbeam™ is designed to act as an autonomous power platform for various types of infrared beams, microwave detectors and radio communications. In addition, the system can easily be modified to act as a trigger for audible reporting, strobe lights and CCTV cameras and much more.
B) Durability: Housed in a sealed polycarbonate tower, the system is resistant against intrusion by insects, dirt, and sand. It has repeatedly been successfully installed in corrosive salt water environments such as ports and marinas.

J) Health Check – The Master station and TCP/IP radio communications offer the user to ability to check the status and diagnostic function of each tower. Utilizing the “Health check” the user can view on the touch screen monitor the status of the solar panel voltage, battery voltage, IR Beam alignment, Disqualification circuit (in the event of fog), tamper devices and alarm signals. Depending on the Master station, remote login from an authorized computer can allow the service dealer to view and determine the status of the system.
K) User Friendly: The menu driven, touch screen, supervisory system provides for ease and simplicity of operation.
L) Reliability/Low Maintenance: Extensive research and development has yielded successful installations of over 13 years which are still in operation. With self diagnostic supervision of an already reliable product, maintenance can be greatly minimized. Rechargeable batteries contained within the individual solar towers have a realistic useful life of excess of 5 years.
M) Easy to Install/Easy to Retrofit: The lack of the necessity to trench, pipe and wire provides for an efficient installation.
